 The Taryn Ann offers a variety of trip types to suit your group’s needs. Please call for further pricing information.

 Fishing

The Taryn Ann is prepared to offer all types of fishing in season, both in the bay and deep sea. The crew can accommodate the novice fisherman as well as the experienced angler. All fishing trips include bait and tackle, blocks of ice and morning coffee.

 Half day trips

Half day trips include 4 hours of bay and/or ocean fishing. Children’s prices are available.

 Full day trips

Full day trips include 7 hours of bay and/or ocean fishing.. Children’s prices are available.

 Children’s trips

Groups primarily of children (camps, schools, scout troops, etc.) receive special rates. These trips are specially designed to accommodate large groups of children will little or no experience. You can choose from a fishing trip, marine science trip, or a combination of both.

 Children’s fishing trips begin with basic fishing skill instruction, how to hold/use a fishing rod, and how to bait hooks. Crew will work with the group throughout the trip to perfect novice level skills.

 Children’s marine science trips are designed for groups to get “hands on” experience with sea life. The Taryn Ann will drag a net below the sea surface to bring aboard a variety of sea life. The crew will then discuss with the group different kinds of sea life and the effects the environment has in our waters. Children will also get an opportunity to visit with the captain and gain a better understanding of his duties both on and off the boat.

 Moonlight and Sunset Cruises

The Taryn Ann understands that many guests wish to just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and not be involved in the sport of fishing. We offer two types of cruises to suit this guest’s needs.

 Moonlight Cruises

Moonlight Cruises are private 4 hour cruises that sail in the Great South Bay. Your group is welcome to bring aboard food, drink, & music, for your private party. These types of trips typically sail after dusk returning to the dock within 4 hours. The Taryn Ann is equipped with a CD player and Sirius Satellite radio for your enjoyment.

 Sunset Cruises

Sunset cruises are designed for groups that are not large enough to charter the boat privately. The Taryn Ann sails each Thursday, from July through September, from 5pm to 7pm, with no destination in mind – a relaxing tour of the beautiful scenery of the Great South Bay. The Taryn Ann provides the music, ambiance and fun, you make the memories! Guests are welcome to bring aboard their own food & drink. Please check our “special trips” link for additional Friday night sails. Reservations are recommended for all Sunset Cruises.

 Ash Spreading

The Taryn Ann has been working with families for over 20 years in carrying out the final wishes of loved ones. We understand the importance and difficulty of these trips. We offer private family ash spreadings to the local destination of your choice.  Our crew is trained to make this trip memorable and seamless for your family.

Special Trips

Sunday, May 25^th, Memorial Day Weekend

 The Taryn Ann and Fishtale are hosting the 1^st Annual Veteran’s Fishing trip. This trip is designed to honor our Veterans and celebrate this special weekend. The trip will sail from 8am until 12pm with 10% of fares donated to the VA Hospital on Long Island. We also will be holding a 50/50 raffle with the proceeds also donated to the VA Hospital. The fare will include all bait & tackle and a morning breakfast.  Please contact us for more information or for a color brochure.

Father’s Day Weekend

 Want to take your Dad/Grandfather/Godfather/Uncle fishing for Father’s Day? Consider the Taryn Ann! We will cater to your loved one on these special trips, sailing both Saturday & Sunday at 8am & 1pm sailing in the Great South Bay only. Reservations are recommended.

 4th of July Fireworks Cruise

 Reserve the best viewing seat for the fabulous Grucci fireworks at Jones Beach! We will be sailing from Captree State Park at 6:30pm  directly to Zach’s Bay (Jones Beach) and anchor up to see the beautiful fireworks. Prices include complementary cheese & crackers.  Advanced purchase of tickets is recommended.

 Sunset Cruises

 Cruise to “nowhere” on these special 2-hour trips! You bring the food & drinks, we’ll supply the ambiance! Trips sail each Thursday from 5-7pm and Fridays  TBA Reservations are recommended.
